Welcome to our website pages. If you continue to browse, you will notice that we exist and function in the United States of America, in Astoria, New York. Our club has been established since 1977, primarily due to soccer. Majority of our founders are from Labin, a small Istrian town, where mining was a major aspect of life. Some of our founders have even worked in a mine before moving to the United States. Due to that reason, we hold the name UNITED MINERS SC or as they simply call us, RUDAR.

As you see, through time, besides soccer and hunting, we have established a folklore group in which we have young singers who successfully contribute to our Croatian community in New York. Our restaurant, which serves our Istrian and Dalmatian specialties is very popular amongst our Croatian immigration here in New York and surrounding areas.

Our wishes are that throughout these web pages, you will meet and find out who we exactly are. The ones who do not know us, we hope that you see all we have established in the passed 30 years, as well as our hopes and plans for the future of the Club.
